It's been a busy start to our year! We look forward to seeing our students, staff and families back in Term 2 after a well deserved break, so we can do it all again. ... See MoreSee Less

Our Year 10 science students studying in Mrs Beeton’s options class: Preparation for the Apocalypse, have spent the term learning about pathogens, outbreaks and a potential apocalypse.
The subject revision included the outcomes from creating their own pathogen with symptoms, disease transmission as well as a location for ground zero. Our students also studied the ripple effect in our ecosystems and ecology dynamics.
As part of their revision, students simulated disease transmission activity which was modelled at the rate which diseased can be transmitted and then very quickly traced back to see who was Patient Zero.
